Why is there a Winter Jamboree?
According to ASA rules, players must be registered with a league for winter or spring to be eligible to play on a summer travel team.
Some girls - especially those on high school teams - have conflicts in the spring recreation season, but want to play on a summer travel team.
Winter Ball satisfies the ASA requirement.

What is Winter Jamboree?
A fun event in which teams play friendly games.
Based on registration information, teams are formed
by the Winter Jamboree Coordinator.
