Why register by December, but we don't hear anything until late January?
Registration needs to be done early to allow time to order uniforms and equipment before Opening Day.

Tball and 8U teams are formed based on neighborhoods and school in attendance. Special requests for players/teams (i.e., coach preference) may not be accomodated to ensure fair balance of teams.

10u and Middle School teams are formed based on tryouts. Managers/Coaches are selected, tryouts occur, then teams are
formed during a blind draft.

Managers/Coaches usually have their team information
by the end of January to begin practice days in February.

2010 Spring Recreation

Age Groups as of Jan 1, 2010:
TBall: 5 - 6 years old
8U: 8< years old
10U: 10< years old

Middle School: Grades 6th - 8th
as of August, 2009
Seniors: Grades 9th - 12th
as of August, 2009

Opening Ceremony
Saturday, March 6, 2010

Season Runs
through April for Tball/8U
mid-May for 10u/Middle School
through May for Seniors
